Refund Policy

mini murray and me

This Refund Policy applies to the website and to all products and services provided by mini murray and me.


1. Non-Refundable Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of order placement to secure any service.

  • The deposit covers initial costs, planning, preparation, and production scheduling.

  • Deposits are not refundable or transferable under any circumstances, including change of mind.


2. Cancellation & Store Credit

Due to the custom nature of our work:

  • Cancellations requested more than 14 days prior to the scheduled preservation date may, at our discretion, be eligible for a store credit only.

  • No refunds or store credits will be issued once:

    • Flowers, ashes, or materials have been received, or

    • Materials have been ordered or allocated, or

    • The creation or preservation process has commenced

Store credits:

  • Are issued at the sole discretion of mini murray and me

  • Are valid for a limited time and non-transferable

  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or shipping costs


3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are not available for change of mind.

Refunds or store credits will not be issued where:

  • Flowers are damaged, mouldy, or unsuitable upon arrival

  • Colour changes, bruising, or natural drying effects occur

  • Dissatisfaction relates to subjective or artistic elements


4. Quality Concerns

In the rare event of a fault arising during the preservation or creation process (excluding the flowers or materials themselves):

  • We will make reasonable efforts to rectify the issue where possible.

  • Clients must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item.

Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the issue being deemed accepted.


5. Refund Request Process

All refund or store credit requests must be submitted in writing via email.

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Date of completion or preservation

  • A clear explanation of the concern


6. Assessment & Processing

  • Requests are reviewed within 7 business days.

  • Any refund or store credit is issued at the sole discretion of mini murray and me, except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

  • Approved refunds are processed using the original payment method.


7. Shipping Costs

  • Clients are responsible for all shipping costs to and from the studio.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • mini murray and me is not responsible for:

    • Courier delays

    • Failed delivery attempts

    • Re-delivery or holding fees

Tracked shipping is recommended.


8. Rejection of Refund Requests

We reserve the right to reject any refund or credit request that:

  • Does not comply with this policy

  • Relates to artistic preference or subjective dissatisfaction

  • Falls outside the stated notification timeframes


9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Refunds will be provided only where goods or services are:

  • Faulty

  • Not fit for purpose

  • Not as described

Custom-made goods are not eligible for refunds for change of mind.


10. Policy Updates

mini murray and me reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time.
Updates take effect immediately upon publication on our website.
