Funeral Flower Preservation Sydney

Turn Their Flowers Into Something You Can Keep Forever

When the funeral is over, the flowers are often one of the few physical pieces of that day you can hold onto.

Instead of watching them wilt and eventually having to throw them away, we can carefully preserve those flowers and transform them into a beautiful memorial keepsake that can stay with you forever.

At mini murray and me, we specialise in funeral flower preservation and handmade memorial keepsakes from our Sydney studio.

Every piece is individually created using your loved one’s actual flowers — preserving not only the flowers themselves, but the memories and meaning attached to them.

Memorial Keepsakes Made From Your Loved One’s Flowers

There are so many beautiful ways we can preserve funeral and memorial flowers.

Your flowers can be transformed into handmade resin keepsakes including:

 • Hearts

• Memorial crosses

• Bears

• Orbs

• Photo frames

• Candle holders

• Jewellery and trinket trays

• Keyrings

• Pocket hearts

• Larger statement pieces

• Custom memorial pieces

You don’t need to know exactly what you want before contacting us.

Send us a photo of the flowers you have and we can help you work out which keepsakes will suit your flowers and what you would like to remember most.

More Than Just Flowers

Sometimes the smallest things hold the biggest meaning.
Alongside your loved one’s flowers, we can also incorporate other sentimental items into your memorial keepsake, including:
• Ashes
• Hair
• Fur
• Photographs
• Fabric
• Other small sentimental items
This allows us to create something incredibly personal to the person — or pet — you are remembering.

Every memorial piece is different, because every story behind it is different.

How Funeral Flower Preservation Works

  1. Contact Us

Reach out as soon as you can after the funeral or memorial service. The fresher the flowers are when they arrive, the better chance we have of preserving them beautifully. If you’re unsure whether your flowers can still be preserved, send us a photo. We will always have a look before you give up on them.

      2. Get Your Flowers To Us

Flowers can be dropped to either of our Sydney locations in Smeaton Grange or Campbelltown. If you aren’t local to Sydney, flowers can also be carefully packaged             and sent to us via Express Post from anywhere in Australia.

      3. We Carefully Dry Your Flowers

This is where the preservation process really begins.                                                    Flowers contain moisture, and that moisture needs to be carefully removed before they can be placed into resin.                                                                                              Different flower varieties behave differently during preservation.                                    Their colour, shape and texture can naturally change as they dry.                                      This isn’t simply putting flowers into resin.                                                                      There is a whole process — and a little bit of science — behind preserving something that was once living.

 4. Your Keepsake Is Created By Hand

Once your flowers are ready, we select the flowers that have preserved best for your chosen piece.                                                                                                                      They are carefully positioned by hand before the resin process begins.                                  There are no two pieces exactly the same.                                                                            No mass production.                                                                                                              No machine creating it.                                                                                                        Just your flowers, your memories and a keepsake individually handmade for you.

5. Your Flowers Come Home

At the end of the process, something that may otherwise have lasted only days has been transformed into something you can keep for years to come.

Funeral Flower Preservation in Sydney

Our studio is located in Smeaton Grange, in Sydney’s Macarthur region, where we carefully preserve funeral and memorial flowers and transform them into meaningful keepsakes for families.

We welcome flowers from families throughout Campbelltown, Camden, Narellan, Liverpool, Wollondilly, Western Sydney and Greater Sydney, as well as flowers sent to us from across Australia via Express Post.

If you’re organising a funeral and already know you’d like some of the flowers preserved, you’re also welcome to contact us before the service. We can help you understand which flowers to keep, how many you may need and how to care for them until they reach us.

What Funeral Flowers Can Be Preserved?

Many types of funeral flowers can be preserved, including roses, sunflowers, carnations, native flowers and many other varieties.

Because we work with real flowers, every variety behaves differently during the drying and resin process. Colours, shapes and textures can naturally change as the flowers preserve.

White flowers in particular may develop cream, ivory, translucent or darker tones during preservation.

We never want to promise that a flower will look exactly as it did when it was fresh. Instead, we preserve it as beautifully as nature allows.

Those little changes are part of working with real flowers — and part of what makes every memorial keepsake completely unique.

Funeral Flower Preservation FAQs

Can You Preserve Funeral Flowers That Have Already Started Wilting?

Sometimes, yes.

The sooner we receive your flowers, the better, but please don't assume it's too late.

Send us a photo of your flowers so we can assess their condition. Even if we can't preserve every flower, there may still be individual blooms or petals that can be transformed into a meaningful keepsake.

Can Ashes Be Added to Funeral Flower Keepsakes?

Yes, absolutely.

Where suitable for your chosen design, ashes can be carefully incorporated into your memorial keepsake alongside your preserved flowers.

We understand how precious these inclusions are and the trust you place in us. Every memorial piece is handled with the utmost care, compassion and respect.

Can You Make Keepsakes for Several Family Members?

Absolutely. This is a beautiful way to share flowers from one funeral arrangement between children, grandchildren, siblings or other loved ones.

Depending on the number and condition of flowers available, we can create several smaller keepsakes, allowing each family member to have something meaningful to treasure.

Simply send us a photo of your flowers and let us know how many pieces you're hoping for. We'll happily help you explore your options.

How Long Does Funeral Flower Preservation Take?

Floral preservation is a delicate process that cannot be rushed.

Your flowers undergo a careful drying process that can take approximately 4–6 months, followed by several stages of resin pouring, curing, finishing and polishing.

Our current turnaround time is approximately 9–12 months.

We understand that waiting for something so sentimental can feel like a long time. However, these aren't simply products being made. We're preserving precious memories, and we believe your flowers deserve the time, patience and care needed to create something truly special.

Do You Only Preserve Funeral Flowers in Sydney?

Not at all!

Our studio is located in Smeaton Grange, in Sydney's beautiful Macarthur region, but we welcome funeral flower preservation orders from families across Australia.

If you're unable to deliver your flowers to our studio, please contact us. We'll guide you through the process of safely packaging and sending your flowers via Express Post.

A Piece of Them, Preserved Forever

We know these aren’t just flowers.

They may be the roses that sat beside someone’s coffin. The flowers your children chose for their grandparent.

A bloom from the final goodbye.

Something you simply weren’t ready to throw away.

That’s why every memorial piece that comes through our studio is treated with the care and respect we’d want someone to give our own.

If you have funeral flowers you’d like preserved, please reach out as soon as possible.

Even if you have absolutely no idea what you’d like made yet, that’s okay.

Send us a photo of your flowers and we’ll help you from there.
